"She Wanted It All": a Literary Guild, Doubleday Book Club and Mystery Guild Alternate Selection

Great news: in October, the Literary Guild, Doubleday Book Club and the Mystery Guild opted to license "She Wanted It All" as an alternate selection. It'll be published in hardcover and made available to their members through the clubs' advertising and mailings.

The ultimate measure, of course, will be how readers respond to the book upon its release in April 2005. Yet, even if that important jury is still out, I have to admit that I'm very, very excited by the response thus far.

So, here's hoping all continues to go well. I'm counting on all of you to send feedback once you've read SWIA. Meanwhile, I'm considering a Houston case for the next book. I haven't made a commitment yet, so there's time to consider alternatives. If you've got a case that's just screams book, e-mail your ideas to me at kc@kathryncasey.com.
